Weygant.\
\
Also known as the \"Orange Blossom\" Regimental History, this is a long awaited reprint of one of the most widely used and sought after volumes for Orange County Civil War research. Col. Weygant had promised his men upon disbanding in June of 1865, that he would see to it that a history of the regiment was written. It would be a history in which not only the sufferings and deeds of its noble dead, but of its surviving members who fought at Chancellorsville, Beverly's Ford, Gettysburgh, and other battles would be truthfully recorded.\
\
Reprint, hard cover, 460 pages, (1877) 1995.\
\
<MENU>Pat's Paper, 40 N Fostertown Dr, Newburg, NY 12500-8712\
845-565-1483; atavaf@aol.com\
</MENU>\
\
Letters Home compiled by Naomi B. Pfluger.\
\
Anna Mary Gasienica (1909-1993), the daughter of Polish immigrants, left home at age sixteen, married Walter John Edward Lang (1903-1977), the son of German immigrants, and assumed major responsibility for encouraging and supporting five children to complete advanced degrees. She told the stories of her life in the coal region of southwestern Pennsylvania and the Tug Hill region of upstate New York to her children and grandchildren, some of which she recorded on tape to be shared with members of the family living elsewhere. From these and the recollections of her five children, Ann's Legacy preserves for her family and friends photos and family history.\
\
The book also gives the reader valuable insights into the complexities that may be involved should one choose to research one's own family history, especially where there are few written records.\
\
Hard cover, 180 pages, 2002.\
\
<MENU>Luke Pfluger, 246 N.
